Implied Spaces Watch (2)
Copies of Implied Spaces have been seen! Actual physical copies!
But they were seen by someone connected to publishing, so the sighting doesn't count for the Implied Spaces Watch contest!
To repeat, the winner is the first person to see a copy of Implied Spaces in a store, or to see it for sale online such that you can buy it right this instant, as opposed to having to wait "3 to 6 weeks," or whatever.
Winners get a free signature to their copy whenever we can arrange a time/space coincidence. (Yes, I'm still going to make you buy it. I'm greedy.)

After my preorder for 'Implied Spaces' was bumped into the indefinite future on amazon.co.uk, I preordered from amazon.com, but that has just been bumped a month to delivery (maybe) in July, plus the extra month for international shipping, so I doubt I'm going to win this one :-(
Living in anticipation...
Amazon still is yanking my chain on when I am actually going to get my copy.
I too have received yet another in the string of notices from amazon that my delivery date has been pushed back, now to some time in July.
After all this teasing, I'm afire with anticipation. It's bound to be the Best. Book. Ever. But no pressure, Walter.
I'm trying to think of who I know in the publishing industry that I could bribe or intimidate enough to get my hands on a copy.
Of course I was thinking about this before any contest was mentioned.
Another fan in Amazon limbo. All of this is certainly heightening the anticipation....
Amazon has pushed the delivery date back 3 times now, and each time I've been forced, I say forced, to go to Powell's and buy huge numbers of other books to cope with my disappointment. And by now I've read most of them. You have much to answer for.:-)

Powell's claims my copy has just shipped.
I asked Jeremy about the book at Wiscon, and he said it was behind schedule. It sounds as if it's out, so I can order it.
I just wanted to make it offical. I ordered Implied Spaces from Powells priority mail and am now holding it in my hot little hands. Powells is not playing amazon style Lucy and the Football games, it's actually out.
Now to call in sick and lock myself in my room for 2 days.

I put off purchasing a copy from Powells because I have not yet done business with them. Amazon had them listed as available, then available in three weeks then out of stock. I decided to give in and purchase from Powells. Now Powells is out of stock.
Dubjay, you are by far my favorite author. Please next time have them print more than five copies of the book. :)
