More Happy Internets Praises!
entertheoctopus has reviewed This Is Not a Game.
. . . This is a novel that’s truly of the internet age; most of the behind-the-scenes action happening in the pages would have been inconceivable only a decade ago. However, that doesn’t mean that readers have to be familiar with the tech to appreciate the story. This is Not a Game is at its heart a good suspense novel, a technothriller for the Facebook generation that will keep readers engaged until its final pages. Highly recommended.

well-deserved, Walter.
I bought my copy yesterday, in Waterstones bookshop, Manchester. I am looking forward to reading it very soon!
It's the evil British peoples fault! My Kindle had just arrived, you tell us Not A Game is available in the UK. I get the brilliant idea of going to Amazon.co.uk and ordering the Kindle version. The UK does not yet have the Kindle! How can they not have a Kindle? Conspiracy!
I can't wait to read the book. If it is half as good as Implied Spaces it will do well. Does anyone know how different the UK version is from the US?
In the UK version, the secret cabal of badguys running the conspiracy aren't British, they're French.
"Evil British people"? That's a bit strong!
Occasionally misguided, perhaps? And, in this instance, slightly smug because we get to read Walter's new book before you do?
The review in the latest LOCUS is sorta toothsome too.
Fan fiction? Fan fiction?! FAN FICTION!?!?
Hmm.
Brad, who are you and why are you getting all weird and shouty in my blog?
