O Lucky Man

So I got some really good news the other day.

Really, really, really good news.

Except I can't tell you all what the news is, because things aren't precisely nailed down yet.

But it's good news.

Reely reely good goody good reely good goody reely good news.

If I had time, I'd open a bottle of champagne, but I don't.

Ah! This must mean the commission for admiral has come through! Congratulations, sir. Have you chosen your flagship yet?

I'm STILL holding out for a sequel to the City on Fire series...or another short fiction book ( more Broadway Jonnie?)...
But I'll take more Dread Empire books...
or Any WJW books...
;)

I'd love it if it was more of the "Dread Empire." But whooo-hooo all the same!

Congratulations in Advance!

More Dread Empire would be welcome, although I think part of WJW's strength is his diversity.

Dread Empire is not Metropolitan/City on Fire and not (I presume) the forthcoming Implied Spaces.

Just started "The New Space Opera", which I bought in part because WJW has a story in it.

Congratulations! Reely reely. Whatever it is. (I'm betting movie or more Dread Empire's Fall books.) Please put us out of our suspense asap.

Could it be that someone wants to make a film of 'Metropolitan'/'City on Fire'?

Or 'Dread Empire'?

Hope so!

I'm sure you'll tell us when you can, Walter.

Now I have the feeling that you're all going to be disappointed when the time comes to reveal what's actually going on.

It is wicked cool, though.

Whatever it is - Congratulations! Anything you think is “wicked cool” must be truly cool indeed! Can’t wait to hear.

I'm going with WJW action figure.

A WJW action figure would be wicked cool. Scuba gear sold separately, no doubt.

But now I have another guess: WJW's gonna be on Iron Chef America. Here's hoping the mystery ingredient is green chiles.

Dubjay: ...you're all going to be disappointed

Well, there's good news for you, and there's good news for us. We've been speculating about the latter :-)

Now I'm wondering if you're taking a summer off to participate in the next "Survivor" :-)

Ah, a good news? For me good news will be to hear... that you will finally write continuation of "Metropolitan" and "City on fire" :)

But, will you tell us this good news? ;)

I agree that a third book in "Metropolitan" would be very welcome.

On the other hand, a "Hardwired" animated series would be kind of cool.

Or maybe just a series of action figures based on the works of WJW?

It was an idea of animated series of "Hardwired"???

That is it! When dream will became truth??

In Poland only "Hardwired" was published... so sad :(

But... what about this good news? It was 6 days ago... WJW?

Ah! It seems I was incorrect that it was your commission for Admiral, and was, in fact, your commission as a god.

Congratulations upon you, O highest. Please remember that I knew you when.
