The Great Lost Essay
I started an essay on fiction writing on April 26, but never got around to finishing it till today. Blogger went and posted it as if I'd finished it on April 26, which means it's buried amid old postings and you probably won't see it.
Here it is, if you want to jump right to it.

Shields was on our prime time public radio variety talk show last week and truly, I wanted to slap him upside the head a few times.
There's nothing wrong with our good old story-telling narrative. Nothing at all, except that too many people don't do it very well. They are trying to tell stories with dull, overly verbose and not very interesting writing.

Next time that happens, remember that blogger allows you to edit the time and date of the posting at the bottom of the post. You can change 04/26/10 to 05/04/10 by revealing the time and date stamp at the bottom right and changing it appropriately.
(Those reading with an RSS reader saw it as a new post.)
Ken, I have done exactly that. Thank you.
