Cliquot or not Cliquot?

This is Not a Game is done, and sent to the publisher, and with hours to spare!
You see me on the verge of pouring the drink I owe Traci, for betting against myself, except that Traci's not here, and I'll have to buy her the drink somewhere else.
Looks like I'll have to drink it myself.
I realize it's not on my diet, but perhaps in this case I can make an exception . . .

Awww. Well, congratulations! I'm glad you got the book out with time to spare. And, ironically, I just got handed a free bottle of Cabernet at work (some promotional thing they want all of us to try, and, hey, I won't complain) so, in effect, I'll have something to celebrate with as well. Enjoy! Here's to you!

Alas, I don't know how to insert the pic, but here's me with the wine bearing the entertaining title of "Screw Kappa Napa." Long distance toast!

Awww, have the drink and make it up with a lighter meal or two later on. You earned it.

Congratulations, Walter!

As for the Cliquot, as we say in Manchester, "gerrit down yer!"

Oh yes, and congratulations to me for having 2 WJW books to look forward to reading! I think I'll treat myself to a beer out the fridge.

Thank you for the toast, Traci! I toast you right back!

I drank that whole bottle. By myself. Over several hours.

I feel fine and haven't added any weight, so clearly I should do this more often.

I took the picture myself, using the timer on the shutter. There were many comical missteps along the way, as I'd never used the timer before, and the manual is written in a kind of picture-writing so that stupid people who can't read English very well can understand it. This makes it largely impenetrable to anyone who =can= read.

Just picked up a bottle of Las Hormigas Argentinian Malbec for fun this afternoon at the local Marvelous Market. I think I'll pop it open to toast to your success(need some reason to open it).

Again, congrats!

:)
