And I hope we are all rereading On the Origin of Species and The Descent of Man in honor of the occasion. (Extra credit for reading the books on barnacles, orchids, etc.--which are pretty damn good.) If you don't know about The Complete Works of Charles Darwin Online, check it out at http://darwin-online.org.uk/

On a self-serving note, the episode of A&E Biography titled Charles Darwin: Evolution's Voice is no doubt airing at various times and on various stations today. I'm one of the talking heads featured therein, mostly providing anecdotes about Darwin's childhood and family life.

You mean you actually believe in Darwin!? Dammit, Walter, don't you know that Satan planted his forged birth records in England to fool us all!? It was right after he planted all those fossils.

Clearly, you're in need of some learnin':

Jack Chick's religion is far too newfangled for me.
