"Bimbo's Initiation" scared the dickens out of me when I was little. Maybe it was the spanking. Maybe it was the sex. Maybe it was Betty Boop with spaniel ears.

Wow - I am frightened beyond measure and with watching this right before bed my dreams should be too. I suspect that you have to go through these particular rituals to win a Hugo.
Lots of cartoons scared me when I was a child - particularly 'Popeye', for some reason. I'm certainly glad I didn't see 'Bimbo's Initiation' at a tender age - if I had, I would probably be even madder than I am now!

I remember seeing this in the early eighties as a wee child -- some friends of my parents used to have parties where they'd show old movies and cartoons on a projector at their house.
Gorgeous and terrifying stuff. Though considering that our hero ends up getting to nasty-dance with like thirty Betty Boops, i'm not feeling too bad for him.
